Antonio B. Estipona, jr.
I am a filipino born at the Philippines. The reason for coming to the States because my spouse and I will create lifetime commitment and family together before God. My last career before I left my home country was professor in college teaching Computer Science, Information Technology, and some management classes. My spouse supported me with my plan to have a career change. We had difficulties financially but God's help us survived. I graduated community college with dual degree in Accounting and Business Administration and bachelor's degree in Accounting at North Carolina. I helped the Audit in our first church at North Carolina. I am currently preparing to sit the Certified Public Accounting examination. Recently we just finish the Audit of my second church in Birmingham, Alabama. When I feel the calls by God to serve Him. I answered Him summer Chaplain internship at Rex Hospital and took one year program in Pastoral Leadership and Development. I plan to attend the Divinity or Theological school but I have unfinished business with my dream career in accounting field. I realized through meditation and prayer that God wants me to use talents and skills to serve Him in different way. I would think that Audit is the ministry that wants me to do. Though, it is is not Chaplain or Pastor but I can still serve God by performing Audit of the help the church and not-for profit organization. This selfless service could help the recipients to improve their internal control, correct the flaws in the operation, and increases reliability of the organization. I consider the calling from God for this type of ministry.
The goal of this Audit for the churches and not-for profit organization is to strengthen their operation, detect some internal control problem, and receive viable recommendation to help their day-to-day operation. For whatever help that you can give to fund this ministry is highly appreciated. As the bible said: "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." (Luke 6:38, NLT).
